We bought the book for our children if we expect our new Thai Au Pair, and although certainly not every family has a Thai elephant in their backyard, it was a pleasure compared to our children’s lives and what experience of people in Thailand. The pictures are a bit dated, but there is good information, usually through the village that raises elephants in Thailand, focusing in particular on an elephant. Ideal for ages 4-7 or so, I would say. . . Rating: 5.4
Children six years, America, I bought this book to be absolutely delighted. They are surprised to see their peers treat them as family dogs elephants. The book has great pictures and the text is often humorous, something about the “elephant shit roads” is always laughing Garner. Rating: 5.5
