Thai Airways Airbus A340-600 (HS-TNF) – Takeoff from Bangkok to Sydney

This is TG471 enroute to Sydney and Brisbane just before Takeoff at Suvarnabhumi RWY19L. We just have to wait for a real big aircraft landing before we can go off with a lot of power. See us climb next to Bangkok city and then heading left enroute to Australia passing the Golf of Thailand underneath us. Taken from Seat 15K on a wonderful day.

    ROTATE is ROTATE , no other meaning

  3. DAIRX says:

    @trent21212 of course every aircraft puts the nose in the air and is beginning to fly. where is your point? it is the point where the aircraft gets airborne or – in other words – begins to rotate. and rotate! is the imperative in the cockpit, to sign that the speed has been reached to get airborne and that the pilot flying has to lift up the aircraft.

    @DAIRX
    thanks, but dont all aircraft put the nose in the air when beginning to fly? so rotation simply means to become airbourne?

  5. DAIRX says:

    @trent21212 rotation means to put the nose in the air and beginning to fly.

    @pbateson I will board HS-TNA in a few minutes (again) on SYD-BNE and BNE-BKK. We´ll see how it works again…..:-)

    Fastest takeoff than HS-TNA. Nice video. You got 15K better than I sat in 17A.

    Hi Francois!
    Nice Video. As I could see you enjoyed the new TG C-Class. When I flew them last year I was surprised to find the route map in German language. Thanks for sharing!

    @dave4shmups Is the seating configuration more comfortable, or something like that?

  11. DAIRX says:

    @dave4shmups I do prefer the A340-600 in the end. clear thing.

    Another awesome video!! How did you like flying on the A340-600, compared to the 747-400??
